NATIONAL ART GALLERY BIRMINGHAM

After having breakfast, I took the train to Moor Street and I went to classes with the rest of my friends. After  classes, we have gone to the Birmingham museum to see the last part that we couldn't see yesterday.  Then, we have had lunch and we have gone to the train station to take a train to Solihull. Once there, you could choose two activities among pool, tennis, gym and football. After two hours there, we have taken a bus because Roman and Pedro wanted to show us our school of next week. After that, each of us have gone to his house.

TRIP TO STRATFORD-UPON-AVON

La clase de inglés se dividió en dos partes. En la primera de ellas, estuvimos escribiendo oraciones para mejorar nuestra gramática, y en la segunda parte, fuimos con las profesoras a visitar el National Art Gallery, situado en Victoria square, en el centro de la ciudad de Birmingham. Allí pudimos contemplar varias obras de diferentes etapas, desde la etapa de los egipcios hasta algunas contemporáneas.

Por la tarde, fuimos a Stratford-upon-Avon, lugar donde nació el famoso escritor William Shakespeare. Visitamos la casa donde nació, recorrimos sus calles más emblemáticas, paseamos por los canales que envuelven los teatros de Shakespeare y finalmente llegamos a la Holly Trinity church, donde se encuentran sus restos mortales.
