Today, 14th of July, we met at the school at 9:00 a.m. as every day. We were all a little tired because yesterday we saw the World Cup Final.
We were in class until 13: p.m., and then, we walked to Moor Street (the train station) to get a train to Stratford-upon-Avon, a village where the famous poet William Shakespeare spent the days of his life. There we also visited his house, which is very interesting because it is very well conserved. Then we have walked to Holy Trinity Church, where the Shakespeare's grave is, and Roman told us a brief version of Shakespeare's life history.
After hearing that, we had some free time in Stratford to do what we wanted. Some of us rested on the grass near the river sunbathing and others went walking through the shops and visiting the other parts of the village.
Then all of us met at the train station to get another train to come back to Birmingham. It definitely was a good day with an interesting cultural part.
