London

5 phrases about London

London is a city with many things to see and we did not have enough time in order to see everything in one day.

The bus that we went on took us to the main places and we could stop at the tower of London and at London Bridge, we visited it outside.

The bus sttoped and we sorted ourselves into groups, my friends and I decided to go to the British Museum.

We took the underground from Piccadilly Circus with the leader and once we arrived outside the museum, the leader left us alone to go inside with my friends.

In the museum we saw:
- The Roseta stone
- The antique Egypt
- Some of Mezopotamia
- The ancient Grecian and Roman
- And the Egypt's mumies
But these were only some of the things that we saw.

Football game

The best experience so far has been the football game that we played yesterday. We talked about it all day, we agreed on what time, and after going skating we bought a cheap ball for 3 pounds. We were a bit concerned about the weather, but finally we had a sunny day and we could play in perfect conditions. We divided the teams into north-Spain and south-Spain. I was in the south team with other Spanish friends like Pablo, Miguel, Manolo ... We played for around one hour and a half, and finished quite exhausted. We are trying to organise another match, with as many people as possible, because yesterday some friends couldn't come and didn't enjoy the time. When we finished the great match we all got a bus back home. Manolo and Raul, who live quiet near me, went back home with me. When I arrived I told everything about the match to my host family, and they were very happy. I have to say that the score was 10-11, the south team won!

TRIP TO OXFORD

 TRIP TO OXFORD
My favourite experience of this week was in Oxford.
We went to Oxford last Wednesday with all the group and we visited it in the afternoon. My friends and I went for a walk in Oxford's centre and we bought a lot of presents for our parents. I bought one jumper and some food there.
We also saw the best colleges of England in Oxford and the teacher explained that Harry Potter's film was filmed there. We entered some boutiques and we saw a lot of typical souvenirs and English flags as well. The weather was terrible, it was raining all the time and everybody has taken an umbrella.
I really enjoyed that city because the streets are made of stones and they seem rural. I liked it very much.
